Walmart Brand Aspirational Site
A complete site for Walmart corporate employees and partners to reference some key insights of their customers on all manner of topics. Unfortunately the content is top secret so I cannot share the link but here’s what I achieved:
- Installed and customized a muti-user CMS engine with Expression Engine
- Developed a photo and video gallery complete with tagging and commenting features
- Responsible for over 100 pages of strategic information with links to relevant research documents, photographs and videos
- Built custom PHP profile page to allow users to easily update their information without using the CMS

Screaming Fast!
A voice activated racing game to promote BFGoodrich Tires. Qualify by beating a pre-determined time and you get to drag race against the top score by screaming into your computer’s microphone. Be sure to change those gears and don’t overheat the engine! My responsibilities included:
- Complete middleware tier that connects the Flash interface with database server
- Robust PHP 5 objects built to fetch previous race data and store current scores
- Send to a friend e-mail functionality that includes screenshots of the finishing line

No Mom Left Behind!
A couple of VCU students and Martin co-workers decided to work on a project in the build-up to the 2008 Presidential election, it’s purpose was to encourage young adults to reach out to their mothers and sway their votes by sending links to news articles they would find relevant. The result was nomomleftbehind.net and it became a small viral hit in the week prior to the election. These were my responsibilities:
- Installed and developed on a CMS engine that allowed easy addition of new articles
- Creating a slick javascript -based interface that would appeal to young adults
- Coded PHP Modules for building the e-mail and pulling the latest articles from the database

The Martin Agency
The Agency decided to move away from their old Flash website and build a new information-rich site that would showcase their latest work in a blog-like format. The new design features video clips and screenshots from campaigns as well as a paragraph explaining any points of interest about the spot. Here’s how I contributed:
- Built CMS components for easy addition of new articles
- Created drop down menus to enhance navigation
- Developed template pages for the website and other sites using the Martin Agency domain
